PineWood USA LLC (“PineWood,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of individuals who visit PineWoodUSReady.com (the “Site”), communicate with us, complete our U.S. Ready Assessment, or otherwise provide information through the Site.
This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we collect, how we use and protect that information, the service providers that may process information on our behalf, how long information is retained, and the choices and rights that may be available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through PineWoodUSReady.com. It does not necessarily govern information collected under a separate client engagement, contract, or other business relationship where different terms may apply.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Through the Contact Form
When you submit an inquiry through the Site, we may collect information such as:
- - your name;
- - company;
- - job title;
- - email address;
- - telephone number;
- - country;
- - industry;
- - whether you identify as an established company, entrepreneur, or business owner;
- - what you are planning or evaluating in the United States;
- - your current stage;
- - estimated timing; and
- - the contents of your message.
Certain information, such as your name and email address, may be required to submit an inquiry. Other information may be optional.
Information You Provide Through the U.S. Ready Assessment
If you complete the U.S. Ready Assessment and request an Executive Readiness Review, we may collect:
- - your responses to the assessment questions;
- - your name;
- - company;
- - email address;
- - country;
- - industry;
- - telephone number;
- - information regarding your U.S. objectives; and
- - other information you choose to provide.
The assessment also generates information based on your responses, including a preliminary readiness score, readiness stage, and identified areas that may require additional attention or validation.
The assessment is an informational business-planning tool. Its results are not a legal, regulatory, financial, tax, compliance, or other professional certification.
Completion of an assessment or submission of an inquiry does not by itself establish a client, advisory, fiduciary, contractual, or other professional-services relationship with PineWood.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, our hosting, content-delivery, security, and related infrastructure providers may automatically process certain technical information necessary to operate and protect the Site.
This may include:
- - IP address;
- - browser and device information;
- - operating system information;
- - referring page or website;
- - requested pages or URLs;
- - date and time information;
- - approximate location derived from IP address; and
- - standard server, security, and content-delivery logs.
PineWood does not currently use this information for behavioral advertising or visitor profiling.
For form-security and abuse-prevention purposes, the Site also uses a one-way cryptographic representation, or hash, derived from the visitor's IP address. The raw IP address is not stored in PineWood's form rate-limit database for this purpose. These temporary rate-limit records are generally deleted after approximately 60 minutes.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information collected through the Site to:
- - respond to inquiries and communications;
- - evaluate a prospective client's business needs or objectives;
- - provide and administer the U.S. Ready Assessment;
- - calculate and present preliminary assessment results;
- - prepare for an executive readiness review or introductory conversation;
- - understand the context of a potential advisory engagement;
- - communicate with individuals who request information from PineWood;
- - maintain records of inquiries and assessment requests;
- - operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- - prevent spam, abuse, fraud, or misuse;
- - troubleshoot technical or delivery issues;
- - protect PineWood, our users, and our systems;
- - comply with applicable legal obligations; and
- - establish, exercise, or defend legal rights where appropriate.
We do not use assessment results as a guarantee that a company or business is ready to enter, expand in, or operate in the United States.
4. U.S. Ready Assessment Information
Assessment responses are initially processed in the visitor's browser. When an individual submits an Executive Readiness Review Request, the submitted contact information, assessment responses, calculated score, preliminary readiness stage, and identified lower-scoring readiness areas are transmitted to PineWood's backend systems.
The stored assessment record may include:
- - the visitor's responses to the assessment questions;
- - the points associated with scored responses;
- - whether an assessment question is used for scoring;
- - the calculated score;
- - the preliminary readiness stage; and
- - identified lowest-scoring or readiness areas.
This information is stored as part of the assessment submission and is included in the notification provided to PineWood so that we can evaluate and respond to the request.
Assessment results are preliminary and depend on the information supplied by the user. The assessment is an informational business-planning tool and is not a certification, approval, or definitive determination that a company or product is ready to enter, expand in, or operate in the United States.
5. Service Providers and Other Recipients
We use third-party service providers to operate the Site and process information on our behalf.
Current service providers and technologies may include:
Lovable and related hosting/cloud infrastructure. The Site uses Lovable-related infrastructure to host and operate the Site and backend functionality and to securely store form and assessment submissions. Hosting and content-delivery infrastructure may process standard request and technical information.
Resend. We use Resend to deliver PineWood's internal lead-notification emails when a Contact Form or Executive Readiness Review Request is submitted. Resend processes the submitted information only for the purpose of delivering those notifications to PineWood. The email address submitted by the prospect may be placed in the Reply-To field of the notification so that PineWood can respond directly to the prospect. Resend therefore processes contact and assessment information as necessary to provide email-delivery services.
Google Fonts. The Site may retrieve fonts from Google. When those resources are requested, Google may receive standard request information such as IP address, browser information, and referring information. Form and assessment content is not intentionally transmitted to Google Fonts.
OpenStreetMap. The Contact page uses OpenStreetMap resources to display location information. Loading the map may transmit standard request information such as IP address, browser information, and referring information. Form and assessment content is not transmitted to OpenStreetMap through this functionality.
Google Maps. If you choose to click an address or directions link that opens Google Maps, you will leave or interact outside the PineWood Site and Google's own terms and privacy practices will apply.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, governmental requests, protect rights or security, investigate suspected misconduct, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
6. Sale of Personal Information and Advertising
PineWood does not operate as a data broker.
Based on the current operation of this Site, PineWood does not sell personal information collected through the Contact Form or U.S. Ready Assessment for monetary compensation.
We also do not currently use information collected through these forms for third-party behavioral advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
The Site currently does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, HubSpot tracking, advertising pixels, remarketing tools, session recording, heatmaps, fingerprinting, or similar behavioral-tracking technologies.
If our practices materially change, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide additional choices or notices where required.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site does not currently set cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage of its own. PineWood does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, behavioral-tracking technologies, or similar browser storage for marketing or profiling purposes. Essential infrastructure or security technologies may be used by hosting or network providers independently of PineWood's website code.
Hosting, content-delivery, security, or other infrastructure providers may use technologies necessary to operate, secure, or deliver the Site.
If PineWood later introduces analytics, advertising, or other technologies that materially change our use of cookies or similar technologies, this Privacy Policy may be updated and additional consent or preference mechanisms may be provided where appropriate or required.
8. Data Retention
Contact Form submissions and Executive Readiness Assessment submissions stored in PineWood's website lead database are generally retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission and are then automatically and permanently deleted from that database.
Temporary form rate-limit records are generally removed after approximately 60 minutes.
Deletion from the website lead database does not automatically delete copies that may exist in delivered email, email-delivery records, provider logs, backups, or other systems maintained independently by PineWood or its service providers. Those copies may follow separate retention periods and may not be deleted by PineWood's website-database deletion process.
If an individual becomes a PineWood client or enters another business relationship with PineWood, information separately incorporated into PineWood's client, contractual, accounting, tax, legal, compliance, or business records may be retained for a different period where reasonably necessary or legally required.
Retention periods maintained independently by third-party providers may be governed by those providers' policies and operational requirements.
9. Data Security
PineWood uses reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information collected through the Site.
Current measures include server-side processing of submissions, validation of submitted information, access restrictions on stored submissions, encrypted transmission, managed database security, rate limiting and anti-spam controls, and protection of backend credentials and email-service credentials from public browser access.
Public Site visitors are not provided access to read, enumerate, modify, or delete stored form submissions.
No system, transmission method, or storage technology can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and PineWood cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Communications
When you submit an inquiry or Executive Readiness Review Request, PineWood may use the contact information you provide to respond to your request and communicate with you regarding the subject of your inquiry or a potential business relationship.
Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter or general marketing mailing list.
The Site currently does not operate an automated marketing-email or newsletter program through these forms.
11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on where you reside and applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information PineWood maintains about you. These may include rights to:
- - request access to certain personal information;
- - request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- - request deletion of certain personal information;
- - obtain a copy of certain personal information;
- - request information about how personal information is processed or disclosed;

If applicable law provides a right to appeal a decision concerning a privacy request, you may submit the appeal using the same email address and identify the request as a privacy appeal.
PineWood will not discriminate against an individual for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.
12. Information About Other People

Please do not provide sensitive personal information about another person unless it is necessary and appropriate.
13. Sensitive Information

Privacy and data-protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your country of residence.
16. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Site may contain links to websites, maps, platforms, or services operated by third parties.
PineWood is not responsible for the privacy practices of independently operated third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies when leaving the Site or interacting directly with those services.
17. Business and De-Identified Information
PineWood may use business information, operational information, and information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it does not reasonably identify an individual for legitimate business purposes, including developing methodologies, improving advisory processes, analyzing business trends, and improving our services.
